Founded in 2016 by two friends united by a passion for the Lusitano, BHHK — Baroque Horse, Horse of Kings — celebrates the breed’s versatility, elegance and enduring connection to Portuguese classical riding.
Rooted in classical principles, our approach is adaptable to every horse and rider, developing balance, empathy, discipline and partnership while respecting the individuality of each horse, whether pursuing sport, leisure, or simply a deeper connection.

At BHHK, we believe true riding begins with understanding oneself to then understand the horse. Rooted in classical principles and inspired by the Lusitano, we cultivate balance, awareness and harmony through patience, clarity and connection, always placing the horse’s well-being at the heart of progress.

02 - Practice
Riding Lessons
Put to practice what you learn at the workshops, when riding your horse at home or with us at our yard. Lessons are mainly focused on seat awareness and biomechanics, helping the rider achieve great body control without strain or forced positions. Ines studies each rider individually and adapts the lessons to each individual's needs.

Three ways to study. Each rooted in biomechanics, the classical seat, and respect for the horse.
Learn in depth about the seat and how your posture and breathing can affect the horse. Our workshop series are full of tips, details, exercises, discussions and visual examples to help you understand your body better.
