At BHHK, the horse comes first, in body, mind, and spirit. We cultivate progress through patience, clarity, and true connection, helping riders develop balance, awareness, and harmony in the saddle.
Rooted in classical principles, our approach suits all breeds and goals, blending timeless values with modern aspirations, without compromising the well-being of the horse. At the heart of our work is the Lusitano, a breed that embodies generosity and grace, guiding riders toward deeper partnership and enduring confidence.

Established in 2016 by two friends with a shared passion for the Lusitano horse, BHHK (Baroque Horse, Horse of Kings) has the mission of celebrating the Lusitano breed & the quality, versatility, and the elegance of Portuguese classical riding.
Guided by classical principles, we support the growth of both horse and rider, whether for sport or leisure, while fostering empathy, discipline, and a deep sense of partnership.

"I have started to take riding lessons with Ines and her Horses. She is an amazing rider, she is full of knowledge and you can see how deeply she cares for all the horses that she looks after, absolutely recommend to have classes with her."

What our customers say
"I can’t recommend Ines's lessons enough. Recently, we’ve been working on pole work, and the way she explains and helps with communication, engagement, balance, and connection is incredible!!!!"
- Alejandra de La Torre
"I've been riding with Inês for the better part of a year now and it's been really great to learn from her and her horses. The lessons are incredibly varied: I now get both groundwork and riding lessons, occasionally we do working equitation obstacles and there is a lot of time spent on the fundamentals like the seat and how body mechanics work, both for the horse and the rider. The atmosphere at the stables is very friendly, too, and the horses Inês has are great to learn on and from."

Double review!
"Thank you very much for wonderful lesson! It was an awesome and meaningful time for me to have a lesson through internet! Even living miles away from the UK, I’m so happy that I could take lesson again like when she was in Japan! Learning how to use my inner body instead of using visible aids is much more easier to ride and communicate with horses! I will try to focus more on what I learned today and I’m looking forward to have next session with Ines :)"
