Rooted in classical principles, our approach suits all breeds and goals, blending timeless values with modern aspirations, without compromising the well-being of the horse. At the heart of our work is the Lusitano, a breed that embodies generosity and grace, guiding riders toward deeper partnership and enduring confidence.

Our Story
Established in 2016 by two friends with a shared passion for the Lusitano horse,
BHHK (Baroque Horse, Horse of Kings) has the mission of celebrating the Lusitano breed & the quality, versatility, and the elegance of Portuguese classical riding.
Guided by classical principles, we support the growth of both horse and rider, whether for sport or leisure, while fostering empathy, discipline, and a deep sense of partnership.
After hosting two Equestrian Art Clinics in the UK, that brought together riders seeking a meaningful bond with their horses, we're excited to return in full force in 2025.

Workshops
Learn in depth about the seat and how your posture and breathing can affect the horse. Our workshop series are full of tips, details, exercises, discussions and visual examples to help you understand your body better. Workshops for Riding Schools are available at a special price, for more information please do not hesitate to contact us.

Riding Lessons & Schooling
Put to practice what you learn at the workshops, riding one of our Lusitano horses or your own.
Lessons are mainly focused on seat awareness and biomechanics, helping the rider achieve great body control without strain or forced positions.
Ines studies each rider individually and adapts the lessons to each individual's needs.
Small changes on the rider
are big changes for the horse.
Clinics & Demos
Learn from Master Victor Baptista & Ines on their Equestrian Art & Performance Dynamics Clinics. You can attend with your horse, or assist from the side lines in a very enriching learning environment where questions are answered and examples are given. We are here to help you see the misconceptions of popular schooling.
